Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MasterLock (the "App", package jomostudio.app.lock.applock.locker.password), published by Jomo Studio ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

The App lets you protect access to other applications on your device with a PIN or pattern, and offers related features such as themes and an optional intruder-selfie capture. The App runs locally on your device; see our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you use the App on a shared or managed device, you are responsible for having the right to install and configure it.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

• Some features are offered under a paid subscription ("Pro"), billed through Google Play. We never receive or store your payment details.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: you can cancel anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active and already-paid fees are not prorated.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies. Statutory rights in your country remain unaffected.
• Prices may change; changes apply from the next billing period and Google Play will notify you as required.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. In particular you agree NOT to:

• use the App to conceal unlawful activity or content;
• use the intruder-selfie feature in a way that violates the privacy, image, or consent laws of your jurisdiction — you are solely responsible for ensuring that capturing photos of people who attempt to unlock your device is lawful where you live;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except where the law expressly permits it;
• interfere with the App's operation or attempt to bypass its security features on devices you do not own or manage.

5. Security — Important Disclaimer

The App is a deterrent and convenience layer, not a guarantee of absolute security. No app lock can protect against every attack (e.g. a rooted device, someone who knows your passcode, OS-level exploits, or physical coercion). You remain responsible for your device, your passcode, your security-question answer, and for keeping independent backups of important data. We are not responsible for loss of access caused by a forgotten passcode, or for actions of third parties who bypass or disable the App.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its name, logo, themes, and all related content are owned by Jomo Studio or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on your Android device; they do not transfer any ownership.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or Android version.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jomo Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or privacy, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, nor your statutory consumer rights.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate the licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 5–8 survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date; continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
